Indeed. And nice to earn enough to afford such things.
Sadly at the moment we are facing big energy price increases from about £960 per year to over £2400. And interest rates are in danger of increasing to over 6%. So can't spend too much in case we need the extra to cover these big increases.
Plus there are lots of UK companies going out on strike over pay increases and working rights. Royal Mail is out on strike for a further 19 days between October and December, which means I won't get paid for those days for that job.
Not great in the UK at the moment.

And it could get worse in the next 2 years. We might have Starmer and the ginger mouthpiece in charge.

As in Boris back as PM in a few years? Many slagged him off, hated him, and the press were just out to destroy him. But compared to the rest he was far better.
We just have no one else in parliment fit to lead the country. Truss isn't going to last long. God knows who will follow her. Really wish Penny Mordaunt had won the contest.

In our first hotel now, the Pan Pacific, excellent. We have an executive room on the 17th floor and have a view at the Gherkin (30 St Mary Axe), which is about 200m away.
Nice. Enjoy. What are you planning on seeing?
