Do you believe most of it is really AI?

Much like Multimedia in the 90s, everything is now stating it's using AI technology. But is it? Do you believe that?

I reckon about 90% of it is just clever algorithms. To be AI it has to be computer learning and able to decide on what to do with the given instruction. For a lot of things that say they are AI I'm just not convinced.

Yes Google AI results are utilising AI. Chat GTP is using AI to create the final document. And photo and video creation software is to create original unique results. But even then is it all really using AI? Or just complicated algorithms?

What do you think? I'm just not convinced.
