    It Returned To The Desert

I found this game by browsing GG, did anyone know of this?

    It's available on Steam for 9.99€ : https://store.steampowered.com/app/2...To_The_Desert/

Is it any good? Quite a few negative reviews.

Devs from the original or just based on?

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

    ....incoming "Face Palm Moment" announcement....

    Tsk H.....

Obviously.... It's a spin off from the Amiga Game "It came from the Desert"....

Not.... It Returned to the Desert!

I read that post a few times, Kin, and I'm still not really clear what point you are trying to make.

The Amiga had a game called "It Came From the Desert" & was based on a story out in the desert with Gigantic Ants....

Is someone now going to say it is based on "It Came From the Desert"?

I'm still not sure where you are trying to go, but I mean it sure does look like it's based on / heavily inspired by / a spiritual successor to (take your pick, or a negatively minded person may say 'a rip off of') 'It came from the Desert'

Well it is 100% for me, thus Harrison's question if it's from the same devs. Take a look at the collector's edition, the logo is even the same. There's absolutely no doubt about the obvious "based on / heavily inspired by / a spiritual successor".

Indeed DC, therefore it seems to me like "was anyone from the original involved in this?" is very much a reasonable question to ask, you and I agree on this....

So I'm still really not sure what Kin is trying to say.
