I expect the sales figures of said titles on an earlier platform will be the keystone on future releases. If the sales are poor, they obviously not going to bother.![]()

Getting 0ld0r is mandatory - Growing up is just an option.

Was ICO never updated? I hired it from Blockbuster back in the PS2 days and never really gave it much of a chance.
After playing Shadow of the Colossus on PS4, I felt a little like I wanted to go back and give ICO another chance.

No it received an HD remaster on the PS3 along with Shadow of the Colossus. But that's it. As you mentioned the latter's PS3 remaster was posted to PS4, but not ICO. The only way to play it on PS4/5 is cloud streaming the PS3 version.
If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
i Perfered Blur to Split/Second Velocity and this is coming from someone that worked on Split/Second
A500 1/1
A1200 1/1
Project X rules
Interesting.....Never heard anyone discuss these racing genre's before.....
Split Second had a much better sensation of speed for me but circuits/maps are repetitive & can be mastered to memory. - Blur just didn't float my boat like Split second. It's all about the sensation of speed I guess.

I gotta gush & say this though.....Gran Turismo has always held the top spot for me in Racing Sims & after that, I'd have to say WipeOut.

I liked Blur too but I don't like the powerups aspect of the game so much, I pretty much prefer the explosion triggering in Split/Second.
Motorstorm Apocalypse is really great too. Another one that I like is Ridge Racer Unbounded, unfortunately you cannot download people created tracks anymore as the servers are down.
Morning DC. - Hoping you & yours are all well fella!
What about NFS: Most Wanted (2005) ?
That was always.... Just one more.... for me!![]()

I enjoyed WipeOut too. For me the most enjoyable recent driving game has been Hotshot Racing. It's in some ways like the original Burnouts (without the cool crashes though) in the way that it plays. Or a Ridge Racer but with more a bit more glitz and humour.
It's a fun racer, and well worth the bargain entry price.

Don't think I've played that. Will take a look.
Wipeout has always been great, and the PS4 version Omega collection, which brings together all the tracks abd racers from the PSP version along with the PS4 version is great. Also supports VR which is mad.
I really wish they would make a new Ridge Racer, but sticking to the series roots. I got so addicted to those games on the PS1. Still liked RR6 on the PS3, but not as much. PS1 R4 and the PSP RR2 are both on PS4/5 now with HD upscaled graphics, but it's not the same as a new game.
