The Hotel you are in is just east of The Ivy City Garden which leads into Liverpool Street Station.

You should have a fab time. If you have the time, (& it's a must see event) you will need a full day at the Science Museum. - From where you're staying, don't go too far East out of daylight hours.

Years ago, the company I worked for at the time hung all the curtain cladding to the surrounding buildings between the Station & all around the Ivy Garden. I spent 7 months on the site fitting cladding & sun screens along the verandas.
Back then, the huge circular area was frozen up as an ice rink in Winter. Not sure if they do this now.

Check out the Lloyds Bank building too on Bishopsgate, which is on the corner of the Ivy City Garden. - Same company btw.
