    Wallpaper Engine

I was looking for a new live wallpaper program, using Microsoft Live Wallpaper gave me headaches, especially with 4K resolution. So I came across the Wallpaper Engine on Steam, costs like 4€, so not much. And it really is amazing, has thousands of great live wallpapers and it's quite easy to manage.

Today I installed a new one, looked nice from the screenshot, so I tried it. But is it amazing, that art is beyond awesome, the wallpaper takes around 10 minutes to completely play through once and the featured art is just breathtaking.

But there's more behind it, even more people took part in this contest:

Over the last month, I challenged 3D artists with the Alternate Realities CG challenge. I provided an animation for everyone to work from, and the results were stunning. 2,400 artists delivered, the top 100 were chosen.

Nice find. Will have to check out the video when I get more time.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
