I think I have played every Monkey Island game except Curse (that's the third one, right?)

Yes. Curse is the third and it was the last 2D hand drawn and animated one. Has a good story too. The 4th was 3D. And you have the much newer Telltale games episode series but i still haven't played that past the second episode.

I played the 4th on my PS2, it was OK....

I quite enjoyed the Telltale games series although they were a bit heavy handed with some of the call-backs to the past. Overall though, I did enjoy.
