    *Tips some gin*

So long, little dancing ToeJam and Earl in my sig.

To be honest, I'd forgotten I even had a photobucket account. I think it mainly contained LOLpics from a long long time ago....

Has photobucket closed down completely? I read a bit about it but having never used it didn't really read much.

They changed their plan, no more 3rd party hosting, now you'll have to pay 5-6€/month. Even my 2GB are even not reached yet, I would have to update. In another thread you mentioned that you would let us know again where to post them here on the server, but you didn't do it yet

I've not forgotten. I've just been really busy. AFAIK you both still have your ftp accounts working and sub domains to link to files externally. No space limits or restrictions etc. If I have time tonight i will reset the passwords and send you both new details.

Oh, FTP, I don't think I've done that in 10 years.....

I really should change my sig, but also having two dials showing 100% make me look and feel like a real go-getter TO THE MAX

The thing is ftp really isn't all that different to a cloud account. Both are just some space on a remote server. Ftp is useful to upload and link to from anywhere to share.

Do I still need a dedicated FTP software or can it be done through browsers now? I genuinely haven't thought about it, nor looked at it, for aaaages

I usually use separate FTP client software. I tend to use GFTP on Linux and WS_FTP on Windows.

I really couldn't say if you can upload stuff from a browser. I sometimes download stuff via FTP in Firefox, but I've never tried the other way.

If you're using a Macintosh you can just connect to an FTP server in the Finder and access it like you would a local disk.

I use FileZilla, works best for me, and it's probably the most known client.
