    As you are not really a gamer then an Intel i5 with built in GPU would be fine. And I always recommend Asus motherboards purely for reliability and features. Get a micro atx board with dvi/HDMI built in to support the built in GPU and you are good to go.

    I think it's a bit early to buy the new AMD cpus yet to ensure full compatibility with every os etc. Intel are generally the best bet.
