Well the game has been released and a lot of the campaign does revolve around having multiple players in your team, but in the videos I have watched so far a single player can manage.
In general it actually does look okay although of course not as graphically nice as the Gamecube/Wii Prime games and because it handles a whole different art style.
Still I would not dismiss the title on that ground alone even if a lot of the other Metroid fans do.
What does bother me is that the game is a little bland compared to a Prime game, there is not much regarding the joy of discovery as the game is pretty much mission focused, and there is not that much lore development sadly.
Heh as some reviewer mentioned, Samus Aran who is also doing an investigation seems to have the main adventure while you are just following her up.
Still it is a game I would like to play if I had a 3DS. I guess I will look out for one when their prices go down when the next portable console is announced. Really not that interested in other 3DS games so it would be ridiculous to buy a new portable console for just one game.
