    -NS8250 Fixes [smf]
    * Loopback: tx goes high and data is clocked at the
correct rate instead of appearing instantly Modem status register:

switching loopback off, writing to register Handshaking: active low
for consistency (RS232 port now defaults handshaking lines high and
serial mouse dtr/rts handling has been adjusted).

-Memory system and Namco improvements: [Alex Jackson]

    * Explicit regions in address maps (AM_REGION) are now looked up
relative to the device rather than as siblings when in an internal
address map (similar to devices and shared pointers) Besides being
more orthogonal than before, this allows internal ROMs of MCUs and
similar devices to be hooked up in a nicer and more foolproof way.
Updated the m37710 and m5074x (m6502 derivative) to take advantage of
    this.

    * Divided the M37702/M37710 into specific models, with each model having
its own internal address map containing the correct amounts of
    internal RAM and ROM.

    * M37702 MCUs found on various Namco PCBs are now all unique devices and
have their respective internal ROMs loaded as device ROMs.

Quite a big update. Finally got around to updating my set this weekend..

is anyone else having issues with utorrent? Whenever I add new PD torrents the software gets very unstable and either hangs then continues on and off, or crashes after some time during the checking process. Only way to make it work is to pause all existing torrents seeding and downloading until the checking is complete.

The latest versions often have this behavior, a lot of people are complaining about it. Best is to use an older stable version, I'm using 3.2.3 at the moment, and that seems to be fine, although not always. There's a big thread about this on PD, and people are suggestion which older versions work fine for them. This always happens with torrents that contain a huge amount of files, then uTorrent seems to freeze, and to get it out from that state is quite painful.

I'm lately only using the Download Station of my Synology, which is very good, plus I can leave the PC off when I don't need it. That's sometimes good when you need to restart your PC, because uTorrent also sometimes seems to have a problem, when restarting, I starts to recheck the torrents, and with bigger ones, that can take a while. I lately had a problem, that with several of the PD torrents it gave me an Error: Write to Disk: Access Denied, which didn't happen using the Download Station. One the other plus side is that wherever I am, I can reach my NAS via apps or PC, and load torrents to the Download Station.

I have 2 nice Synology apps for my photos and music, thus from my phone or my tablet, I can play my music straight from the NAS, and also have access to my photo albums, VERY handy.

Yeah, I'm also using an older version of utorrent after encountering the issues everyone on PD was getting with the newer v4 versions. So annoying as it's a great piece of software. Maybe time to look for alternatives again, although I've not seen anything as good for a while.

I'm still considering a new nas so I can utilise the torrent and other remote cloud services. Would be good. A bit off topic, but to use the remote access to the nas does your broadband need a static up? I always had one until I upgraded to fibre, where they don't offer it any longer.

You just need a DDNS, can get one for free at the MyDs Center of Synology: https://myds.synology.com/support/register.php

That's great that they have thought of that issue themselves.

Definitely will be getting one as soon as my finances allow. Probably the 5 bay version should be enough for what I want it for at the moment. And I like the fact you can add additional bay units to the main unit so are not actually stuck with only the bays in the unit itself.

Btw, I wanted to tell you that the Synology also has a Web Station, where you can host your own homepage. Don't know how fast/slow that would be, if you would try to run the Classicamiga site from there, at least the space is "unlimited", how much you need in total now at the moment? Plus there would be no costs at all. But as I don't really know how all that works, you would need to tell me more exactly, and if that would be even possible.

I doubt it would be feasible to host classicamiga on a NAS due to the way the site works and the processing power/ram required. The file structure isn't an issue, but the database wouldn't be able to run on one AFAIK. Bandwidth needed is currently around 80GB a month I think but would need to check server logs.
