Gamecube/Wii emulator Dolphin continues to improve

    A great article here:

I've not tried Dolphin in a long time, so time to give it another go, especially to try out the 1440p support to see games in HD for the first time! Zelda here we come.

I bought the Mayflash Dolphinbar so I could have a permanent Wii controller connection to the PC. That works fine but I haven't been successful in getting Dolphin to recognize it. The PC I am running it on needs a better GFX card to run the Wii games though. Next project after I have done more on my Amigas

The problem is I think systems like this are not that worth the hassle of emulating other than curiosity to see if they work. You can grab a second hand Wii cheaply and soft mod them, allowing Wii and Gamecube games to run, so the best really, other than the low resolution graphics.

Regarding the Wiimote, I seem to remember people getting these working on the PC back when the Wii was first released fairly easily.
