I do like the A7. The RS7 even more. Although the 5 door A5 sportback is also nice.

Personally I still want an A6 3.0 TDI, or the bi - turbo. Ultimate car would be the RS6, but not practical running costs for the distances I travel.

Of course I also prefer the RS versions of the cars, but f.ex. the RS7 starting price is 120.000€, perhaps a bit too much The one they borrowed me is 80.000€.

I'm not a big fan of A4 or A6, looks boring to me, perhaps for older people, but they miss the sportiness in my opinion. Too much limousine.

If I were single I would definitely go for a 5 door coupe like the A5 or A7. However, having a family now, I need an estate car, and the A6 Avant is the one I would pick.. Although my favourite estate is the Mercedes CLS shooting brake. That is beautiful.

Ok, reopening the thread again. I eventually did it. After looking at car dealers a bit, and with help with my friend (remember the one with all the nice super cars), we found one. He asked for the papers and any other important information and said it is a good deal. Talking forth and back a bit, I ended up buying it.

It's the Audi RS7, told you that at some point I would like to have one, and this morning I gave the Ok. This one even has all the available packages available for that car, so basically it's the top RS7. Anyways, it's a 4.0 liter V8 Twin-Turbo with 600hp. Speed limit 305km/h. Woosh!

The car is from September 2022 and has 78.000km. New price is 180.000?. I paid a bit less than half.

Here is a picture of it still in the shop.

    Very nice car..

But I'm just thinking of the huge petrol cost for that at the moment. Even my diesel is costing about 120 pounds for a full tank at the moment, but that can do 1000 miles on one tank. I do a lot of miles commuting though. If I only had to travel a few miles I would definitely look at a big v8 turbo before the government ban them.

I'm not driving that much, but it's true, fuel consumption is high, 12.8l on 100km, driving city traffic, it's gonna be around 22l, and kicking it down is taking a lot too. I usually do less than 10.000km a year, still having 3 days of home office, plus distances here in Luxembourg are short. If I drive 200-300km a year to go somewhere, I think that's still ok. I kept the A5 and gave it to my girlfriend. Still a great car, but now almost 13 years old, time passes.

Gonna post some pictures when I get it, probably in 2 weeks or so.

    I guess 600 hourses drink a lot...
What is the fuel deposit capacity? Mine is 45l, if you have a 45l deposit you wont go far!

Those litres per 100km really confuse me as in the UK we only work in Miles per Gallon (Imperial measurement). But to confuse things more we buy petrol at the station in Litres.

My Peugeot 508 SW diesel manages about 70MPG most of the time I'm driving it to work. I just did a conversion and that's 4.04 Litres per 100km. Which works out at about 1732 km per tank, or 1076 miles, which is about right as the most I've achieved is 1012 (1629 km) on a full tank.

@DC? Your A5 is a 3 litre diesel isn't it? What fuel economy do you get from that?
