    Empty space in posts

Don't know how to write it in the title

But why is there always so much space in every single post after the text? Can that not be reduced? Scrolling posts becomes really a chore.

I think its because of the amount of information in the left column (underneath your name), which takes up quite a lot of room.

As Steve said, it's the depth of the profile bar on the left. Your signature is displayed below this, which makes it look more stretched out. Turn off signatures and it reduces overall post length.

I'm not going to be doing any further work on these forums in terms of development. It works as it is but is now quite out of date in terms of software version. Nothing new or altered will happen until the eventual planned upgrade to Xenforo when I have the time and money to work on it.

But if you look at your own post above this one you can see why you have that space. You left hand avatar and info is filling that space. Only way to remove that source works be to remove all member info from the site of posts.

Oh, it doesn't really bother me as my internet plan no restrictions on scrolling - but it's one of those curious things that I never really noticed much before it was pointed out.... but now I really do notice it.

I've noticed this before in various forums, especially when the user profile bit is excessively long and the user has only posted a sentence or two. But it tends not to bother me.

Only solution would be if a forum allowed the hiding or rolling up of the user profile information. Or if you could select to hide it when viewing forums. I will take a look in Xenforo and see if there are options for that as would be good to know.
