    Lissie - Nothing Else Matters

Is anyone else a fan of the singer/band Lissie (Lissie Maurus)?

Her voice is very reminiscent of Stevie Nicks, and a lot of her other music does sound very much like Fleedwood Mac (She's also covered "Go your own Way"). She also did a brilliant cover of the Metallica Song, Nothing Else Matters.

    Nothing Else Matters:

And here is "Go Your Own Way" for all the Fleetwood Mac fans:

And her best single to date has to be the current "Further Away". (Really does sound like Stevie in this one).

Oh, and finally a really good cover of "Stairway to heaven" for the BBC 2 Live Sessions British Songbook.

I've always been quite into Folk/Blues. Started off with Fleetwood Mac when very young, and some Led Zep is very Blues too.. and you can hear a lot of folk and blues influences in rock and metal.. and they cross over quite a lot these days.

It also seems that the blues/folk scene is really making a come back at the moment. Loads of festivals and events.
