I everyone, this friday i bought a BQ Maxell Plus 7" with ARM 1.6Ghz. It was 139 euros here in Portugal.
I am very happy with it, very fast, image is great, great tablet for the money. Camera is realy bad, but i don't care, i don't use it.
The rest is really fantastic. I can run any game, even the ones that need a lot of juice.

And i was on internet yesterday and i saw that AROS has a version for Android-ARM-System, so i gave it a try. It works!

Re: My new tablet with Arm CPU and AROS

I've not heard of that tablet. Specs look ok though.

It would be with seeing if you can get Android 4.1 onto it as it's a bit improvement over 4.0. I've got a Google Nexus 7 and 4.1 is very nice.

Well definitely have to try Aros. Didn't know it had been ported.

Most tablets/smartphones use Arm processors (or compatible one) of some sort. Even iPads do. In the mobile world Arm is king and Intel is no where to be found, something they finally seem worried about, hence the release of their first Intel phone.

My Nexus 7 for example has a nVidia Tagra 3 chip, which is a CPU and GPU single package containing a Quad-core (actually 5 core) ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and 8 core nVidia GeForce GPU.
