Something you might like to read.

Having a quiet day after wrestling with BlueMSX and BlueMSX-Wii and got to thinking about games developers that you never here of these days and I thought of Mr. Micro. So a quick google revealed this thread.

Some of the later comments are very interesting.

    Crazy Golf
    Cubit
    Elite
    Humphrey
    Mayhem
    Punchie
    Zakil Wood
    A1200 Power Tower
    OS 3.9 / CGX4 / OS4.0
    Blizzard 210Mhz (overclocked to 266Mhz) 603e PPC with 25Mhz 040 (Overclocked to 33Mhz) 256Mb RAM
    ZIV
    CV64/3D

Didn't they also make stuff for other 8bit systems too? I remember the name.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

AFAIK they made games for all 8-bit systems. Certainly C64, Vic-20, Spectrum, CPC also 4 Amiga games and some ST games but there's no definitive list. Moby Games has some but I'm fairly sure it's not complete.

I just found it funny about the guy who got £300 at age 14 for a few basic games he knocked up over a few weeks and complaining. If I'd had £300 at age 14 I would've gone out and bought myself a brand new Amiga (1986) although I might've needed to have saved up a bit of extra cash as well. In stead I was stuck with my MSX and then later a 2nd hand Breadbox (both of which I'd gotten rid of and have since replaced).
