After trying out FBA Next (Final Alpha Burn) a few months ago, and being a bit bored yesterday afternoon, I decided to test some more emulation on the PS3. Following emulation systems I tested:

- NES (only installed it because my girlfriend wanted to play the original Super Mario Bros, otherwise I would have stuck to SNES only)
- SNES (all ROMs tested ran perfectly)
- SEGA Genesis (most of the ROMs ran, only Mega Drive ROM didn't bother to start, although it should be supported. Master System ROMs are supported too)
- MAME (only preview, but ran fine with the games I tested, although doesn't run bigger sized ROMs yet)
- VBA (plays GB, GBC and GBA ROMs, I only tested GBA games, but they ran all fine)

Still to try, probably this afternoon, are:

- ScummVM
- C64
... and of course the mighty WinUAE!

I won't try the ZX Spectrum or Atari 2600 emulators, as I think they're nothing special to me. Perhaps C64 is neither, but that is my main all time favorite system, as you probably know.

Didn't get PSX emulator to work, getting an error when launching, but later I noticed that it's apparently only working on 3.41, have to wait for another version I guess.

Have to say that it's really nice sitting/lying on a couch and playing retro games on a 50 inch plasma TV
