    I'm not sure about the new one. If you are expecting it to be like the original it isn't. It uses similar arenas, but it just loses the fast arcade style of the original, plus adds silly obstacles such as flame throwers. I suppose they were trying to make it feel even more future death mad max style, but I don't think it worked. I also don't like the way the camera works. I only played a demo though, so not the full game.

    Regarding the remake we were originally talking about in this thread. That was awful, Looked like a polished remake, but they somehow managed to add controller lag which meant the game was pointless.

    If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

    The pain I remember with SB2 was the undeniable wrenching & pressure of the Joystick hand trying to get the ball in the goal....

    You can shove your polished remake....

    I'd take eight hours of edging on a w4nk being so much easier to Pamela & her five daughters than a half hour session of SB2 on an Amiga with a Competition Pro Joystick....Any day!
