If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
It will, but would be a bit pointless considering that I already have 128MB of fast ram![]()

Yeah, but can that run the Gorilla game in QBasic?
*wonders what that is*

But for an A600 that 1MB fast ram is a lot harder to add to the system, so is quite a sort after expansion card.

SRAM cards do seem to be rather expensive.
The downside with this one is that I'm not sure which way up the battery goes.
I don't think I'll really use it in the 100LX as 1MB is a bit small. I will probably get a compact flash card instead.
I've just seen a 2MB SRAM card sell for about 40 pounds on ebay. Any idea why they are so expensive?
I'm going to get some compact flash cards to start running new programmes on the HP 100LX and to transfer things to/from the PC. I might also install Windows 3.0 on it if I can find a copy.
Here's a photograph of it working: http://stevecoates.net/stuff/hp100lx.jpg
Meanwhile, if you fancy a 386 machine and have a spare 12 million pounds, you could buy this Compaq which has a gas plasma display: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=270726354443
