A lot of studios release most, of not all, of their discs as region free. Lionsgate and Disney do however release a mixture so you were lucky.

Anyone have a hacked region free BD player?

We've got a BD player (it's a surround sound combi unit) but we've had it maybe 7-8months and I don't think we've actually watched a bluray film on it yet. I think the region free DVD hack is quite easy to do, but I'm not sure about the hack for BD. I can't say I'm too bothered at the moment though.
