    Domain Renewal Scams

I got a letter in the post the other day addressed to 'Stephen Coates Organisation', in an envelope with a logo of 'Domain Renewal Group'.

I did wonder for a moment if maybe LCN had rebranded or something and decided to write to me regarding my domain name which will expire in a few months.

I opened it up and it wasn't anything to do with LCN, but rather a letter from an American company (with a UK address) which reads like a bill but was actually just an invitation to transfer my domain to them... for double what I pay now.

I did a bit of googling and it looks like this is actually quite common. Though this was the first time I had heard of it.

Does anyone else get these letters?

I get these all the time for the many domains I have registered. Just ignore them and bin them.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

Harrison, do you get them all from the same company, or from several companies?
