How much snow have you had this time?

Where I live, we have over a foot of snow, which is more than I have ever seen here. And apparently it is the earliest snow since 1993.

Of course the schools were shut which means I got a day off .

I went for a walk a couple of miles down the road. I don't think I have ever seen so few cars on a main road and so many people walking. But I suppose there is not much choice when driving a car would be difficult, and the buses are canceled.

I took some photos with my 35mm camera but it may be a while before they are developed.

It's been -1 Deg C here for the past few days, but only a light dusting of snow yesterday that didn't stay. However I've just looked out the window and since 10 PM tonight we have suddenly had a couple of centimeters lay.

We started off with a light scattering over the weekend but since Monday it has snowed everyday and it's getting pretty deep. Schools are closed. Only the main roads have any grit on them or are being cleared. And now due to high winds and heavy snow it's beginning to drift. And because I can't get out we're running out of food.

minimum temperature i got so far was +6º ... Here in Lisbon, even if if goes to -2 or -3, it doesn't snow...

Over night and all of today it's been snowing constantly. Not always heavy but it is building up. Looking at Steve's picture we now have more snow than that! I will take some pics later and upload them.

i just have sun here, it rain sometimes, now i have clear sky... maybe 12 or 13 degrees.

in this moment i dont have even 1 litle cloud in the sky. 100% clear, the sun is strong...

chances of snow in Lisbon are 0 (zero)... and the same every year...
that's why i only saw snow 2 times in my life...

for you guys, it's normal, but for me is a big party
