Plus it will also be adding a new card battle system.
The is only schedules for a Japanese release as most of the additions included in this Final Mix version were added for the Western release of the game anyway, but it might well still be worth getting hold of as it will be in English and it will include this new card battle system.
And whilst looking into this release I discovered that a similar release was made for the first Kingdom Hearts game, again named Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. This again included much of the original western release additions not seen in the Japanese original. These additions included the English voice acting tracks and added 3 difficulty levels, a new camera system, a cut-scene skip feature, slight level design changes and stage additions, and a trailer for Final Fantasy X-2. It also included either a special music CD or a deck of Kingdom Hearts cards as part of its Limited Edition on the first day of release, and was also available in a Platinum Edition with stickers, a calendar of ary by Tetsuya Nomura, and a figurine of Sora.
So basically look at the Final Mix releases as similar to the International editions of the Final Fantasy games we have seen.
