Desk-Scan 1402 discontinued

I had a look at Microvitec's website the other day, and it says that the popular Desk-Scan 1402 has been discontinued.

I wonder if they ran out of CRTs.

It has however, been replaced by the new Low-Scan 15DT, which is an LCD monitor. It is designed specifically for use with devices which use slow scan signals.

Though it does have a resolution of 1024x768.

I wonder how much it costs.

i suppose they had to end crt at some point. would be great if they are making an lcd that supports amiga refresh rates.

The Low scan should support it, but it would have to scale it up to 1024x768. I bet it is very expensive though.
