    68060 upgrades for Amiga 1200

    Hi guys,

What would you consider a fair price for an Amiga 1200 turbo-card with a 68060 CPU?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for the info, Tiago. Will have a look elsewhere in the forum as well.

For a 060 for the A1200 I would recommend only looking for the Blizzard 1260 as it is the best and really the only one worth buying. You can also run it in a standard desktop case which is good, whereas some other accelerators don't fit and need a tower conversion.

For a Blizzard 1260 I've seen prices fluctuate a lot in the past couple of years. Last year I saw one sell for £160 on ebay, which was a brilliant price. Normally you will see them sell for £200-350 depending on interest. It is worth just waiting until a good priced one appears. It might also be worth placing a wanted advert on Amibay as there are some great Amibay members who refurb cards to their factory as new condition.

Some of the traders on Amibay may also be able to source one for you. They are getting harder to find now though.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
