    I got an LCD display

No, you are not seeing things.

My Dad's now ex-tenant, who is wanted by the home office for people trafficking and has buggered off to Slovakia without paying his last months rent, decided to leave in the garage, a Sony DVD player (has a fault but I should be able to repair it) and a Digimate L-1715 LCD monitor.

There was no power supply with the LCD, but I took the cover off and hooked it up to an AT power supply and it works fine . It is about 5 years old now and was only the cheaper variety back then, but it seems to be of reasonable quality. Not quite up to the standard of my 21" Trinitron though.

I decided I would keep it connected to my Amiga 1200 tower.

Here is a picture of the display with my A1200 at 1280x1024:

Here is the room where the Amiga is located:

It's always good to get things free!

Think some tidying might be in order there though Steve.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

I do normally sit on the floor when using the computers up there.

I love the way you casually mention people trafficking and then go on to describe a monitor in detail.

You're a crazy guy Retro! Doesn't it hurt sitting without back support?
