Did anyone watch ashes to ashes tonight?

For once it wasn't Gene Hunt who had the best line that fell to Ray Carling. He was describing the political situation in Africa in the 80's as "having Guns and corrupt politicians. It's like Liverpool with sunshine and elephants." Superb. Shame it's ending next week.

Ashes to Ashes has been superb. I'm really excited to see how it ends, but I don't really want it to end. It's easily the best program on TV at the moment.

Did any of you watch the US version of Life on Mars? After being disappointed with the first couple of episodes because they followed the original UK version word for word, it broke away into its own version and I think it ended up being better. All except the stupid literal last episode. I hope they don't end Ashes to Ashes that badly.
