    Grandfather passed away

Today at 10:30 this morning my grandfather (my mother's father) died, he was 82. They diagnosed cancer 6 weeks ago, and from that point it went very fast. They took him back to hospital 3 days ago, and for one day he was a bit better, but after that day, he got worse and worse and eventually he passed away. There comes the time for anyone of us, sadly.

Sorry to hear that DC. My condonlences to you and your family.

He had a long life though and 82 is a good age.

My condolences also. I have also lost a grandparent through cancer (six years ago) and it is a very painful experience. Best wishes.

Also my condolences, I have never really lost a family member to a long term disease.

My own mom passed away rather sudden when she was released from the intensive care.
