Went to the doctor this morning, and eventually got antibiotics, gets worse every day, and having to be at work instead of lying in bed doesn't help either. Fortunately I have a good job, and the only thing I'm doing at the moment is watching videos, and taking 30 minutes naps.

Leaving tomorrow afternoon at 7:20 to Finland for whole 15 days, not very happy about it, as it's probably going to be quite boring, and my back is still not in good shape, Vodka will be my best friend there.

At least I'm flying business class, as I booked it because of my back, still not great when sitting too long, and in these planes, I never really have any leg space and it's anyway always very tight. Like this I have also priority boarding, getting in first and also out first as you're sitting in the front, no waiting times for the connection flights, eating and drinking for free, extra luggage allowed (double the amount for both of us) plus personal luggage space inside the plane.

Flying business class is The Shit. We were lucky to have been upgraded on one of our flights out to Aus from the UK (the whole way) and then one other time on a single leg from Bangkok to Sydney.

I slept really well, the seat went completely flat like a bed.

It was nice, but also it somewhat spoiled regular flights back in economy after having a taste of the luxury. But no way could I ever afford to actually pay for a ticket like that.

Happy Christmas. Everything went well, but the next day was horrible for me. I was hurting so much like I was hurting 6 weeks after the surgery. Today it’s a bit better, but still hurting a lot. That whole travel was way too much, but hopefully I will be better soon again, have to lie down a lot at the moment.

Are you seeing an improvement though? Does it feel better than before the operation?

Not really any improvement, at the moment it’s still far worse than before. It just takes its time, will see the doc again on the 11th of January. As everything went well, I’m thinking that at some point it will be good, only have to see and wait how long it takes.

    @ DC

You'd be better off having vacations in warmer climates with your recent surgery.

Sorry to hear you're still having a rough time fella.
