    Warblade

I fancied a game of Warblade tonight so just installed it on my main PC. It installed fine, but won't run! It just pops up a "not responding" error message then quits.

Does anyone know if it is compatible with Vista 64bit? I can't see anything mentioning it on the official site or forum.

Not to worry. I was using quite an old version (1.2c). I upgraded to 1.33 and it now works perfectly, and even with an Xbox 360 controller.

Warblade is a great game. Have played it a lot and found many of the secrets. Glad you managed to get it working.

By the way, would it be possible to launch a Warblade competition in the near future?

Sure. However it is a commercial game, so we would be limiting those who could play. Unless we provide a copy of the game in the vault or private downloads area for the competition?

I will need to get some practice in then as I've not played it too much.

Sounds good to me. Are you familiar with the Time Trial mode in Warblade? Maybe this could be an option? In Time Trial, you have a certain amount of minutes to gather as much points as possible.

Using that mode could make it easier for people to participate, as a game won't take a long time.

That is a very good idea. Would make it very fair for all to play.

Do we need the full version to be able to play Time Trial? I think I remember it working in the uregistered version. If it does work properly in the unregistered version, it would make things a bit easier.
