    I forgot to say that i read 3001 in this summer, i have now complete the the 4 books of Space Odyssey.

    I need now to find the other 2 from Rama Saga, i have the first 2 books.

    Was 3001 worth reading? I've not read that one yet, although I do have it.

    All of them are good, but maybe the less interesting of the 4, but stiil very good.

    Thr rama series are also excelente, the first two in my opinion are even better then

    I found it good from a scientific POV but the story was a little weak for me.

    I very recently finished 3001 as well, thereby completing the series. In my opinion it was better than the previous one, 2061. However the original two remains the finest.

    I recently got a huge collection of Clarke's short stories which I will be starting on soon. And I think I may look into that Rama series in a while, sounds worth it.

    Rama is brilliant,

    Imagine the biggest ship you ever saw.... maybe a Super Star Destroyer, the Imperial Star Dreadnought.... with +/-18km long.... that is small...
    Rama is a cylinder with 20 kilometers in diameter and 54 kilometers long .... big big ship that is comming in earth direction...
