I've never had that problem with any of my Amigas but it could be down to a few things. The most common is that the drive needs cleaning. Two methods are to use a floppy disk cleaner or to open up the drive and clean it with some electrical cleaner and cotton buds.
Alternatively it could be a faulty chip on the motherboard. But I would try cleaning the drive first.
