    4GB ram and 32bit Vista isn't such a good combination because you will only have access to about 3GB of ram and lose the remaining 1GB due to 32bit memory addressing. If you had 64bit Vista then all of the ram would be available.

    Asus do however create some nice laptops.

    If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

    Yea that's what this laptop came with unfortunately. I could have gotten the one with the 64 bit OS, but the RAM was down 2 2GB, and the HD was smaller...so really I could go get the new OS, but just wait til it's more stable.

    If I were you, just stick with thr 32bit version for now as 3GB of ram is more than enough for anything at the moment. And upgrade to Windows 7 when it comes out later this year as it is a big improvement over Vista. It is less memory/resource hungry, faster, and runs pretty much everything Vista does.

    If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
