    Avatar size limits

I've just replaced my xmas avatar with a New Year one kindly made by DemonHellRaiser.

I've noticed however that the size limit is 60x60 pixels??? I'm sure people have bigger on this board. Help me increase my pints size - please! At the moment, my pint is about as potent as baby juice.

OK. Should be fixed now. All members should now be able to add an avatar up to 100x100 pixels in size. I just went through the settings and I had it set to 60x60 for some of the membership groups.

    Thanks!

I always thought the avatar sizes over at EAB are on the small side (64x64) and enjoy the larger ones here. Although my New Year one will stick to 64x64 as that's the size DemonHellRaiser made for me.

Have you tried using it? DC has been using an animated gif for years on here.

You can use animated gifs as they are the same as standard gifs as far as the site is concerned. How large is the file? The site is set to a max of 100x100 and 19.5KB.

Alternatively you can host the file externally to the forum and link to it in the Edit Avatar page.

Yep, I'm using mine since some years now already.
