    Amiga images/photos

We need a good set of original Amiga photos of all of the Amiga models for the Wiki.

At the moment many of the images we are using on the Wiki are images taken from other sites. They are all legally used as they are under public domain licenses, but I would prefer if we had our own better unique set of images for the Amiga range.

Existing images of many models are also lacking in quality, detail and in what they show.

For each model of Amiga we need images of:

    • front of case
    • Rear of case (showing ports)
    • Closeup of external ports (so they can have information pointing to each port)
    • Images showing how the case is removed
    • Top down show of open case (just with the lid off)
    • Top down shot of open case with shielding removed (desktop cases)
    • Top down shot of open case with any additional cards removed (big box case)
    • Any additional images that you think might be useful.

Basically I want to try and have a standardised set of images for each model that follow the same set of images. This will give us a good range of images to use in the Wiki pages for all information we are trying to add.

I'm a tad snowed under with work most of this week, but I can get pictures of most of my Amiga models for you.

Do you require them to be stock pics? (as in, no extra addons that were not there from new) or can we leave extras in, such as my A3000 has a Budder IDE card and a HyperCom card in it.

My A2000 has an A2091 SCSI card in it and my A500 has numerous oddities in it.

Poor Zetr0. I don't think we will be able to contain his enthusiasm once we start getting these images together.

Do you require them to be stock pics? (as in, no extra addons that were not there from new)
If possible, yes. These images are going to be used as examples of the systems in their vanilla condition straight from the box, so if possible it would be great to show them without any upgrades. However if you don't have the time to remove the extra hardware then any images, even with upgrades installed, will be better than none at all.

I will be making images for the A4000, A600 and CD32. And I know Tiago already has a load of A1200 images ready and waiting to be used so that should be covered. And I've been sent a load of A1000 images I need to look through.

    That leaves:

    A1500
    A2000
    A2500
    A3000
    A3000T
    A4000T
    A500
    A500+

Plus if any of you have custom tower cases it would be great to get images of those too for the site.

Oh yes, definitely. Forgot to include that in the list. Any and all Amiga models are needed, plus any third party model upgrades like tower cases.

There was also a system upgrade for the A500, called the A1500 (Commodore released the official A1500 to try and stop its sale). It was a case replacement that you fitted the A500 into and it expanded the system with the ability to use Zorro 2 cards. Has anyone ever seen one of these? Would be great to get some pictures of one of those.

The A1500 case you mentioned for the A500 was the Checkmate Digital A1500.
I don't have, nor have I ever seen one for real, but I do know where I can get images of one.
