    Amiga books in the library

I was using the council's website the other day to look for some books in the libraries in Rotherham, and after seeing rather alot of books about programming on the BBC and other old computers, I decided to look up amiga. There were only 3 books about amigas:

    Author FitzPatrick, Peter.
Title Amiga A1200 : next steps : learn how to get the very most from your Amiga A1200 / Peter Fitzpatrick.
    Series Insider guide series

    Bib Id 175521
    ISBN 1873308248
    Physical details 253p. ; 21 cm.
Subject Amiga (Computer) - Handbooks, manuals, etc.

Author Smith, Bruce, 1955 Dec. 1-
Title Amiga A600 insider guide : An introduction to Workbench and AmigaDOS on the A600 and A600HD / Bruce Smith.
    Series Insider guide series
Publisher St. Albans : Bruce Smith, 1992.
    Bib Id 169427
    ISBN 1873308140
    Physical details 256 p. : ill. ; 21 cm.
    Subject Amiga (Computer)
    Notes Cover title: Amiga A600.

    Author Overaa, Paul Andreas.
    Title Mastering Amiga System.
Publisher B.Smith Books, Apr 92, Computer Bkshops.
    Bib Id 165804
    ISBN 187330806X
    Physical details 24cm.398.

Not sure what they contain as I havn't been to look. I'm not even sure which library they are in as the website just says 'Non Fiction Stack', but I will have a look in the central library next time I go.

Has anyone else seen any books on Amigas or other old computers in the library in recent years?

I have to admit that I've not really been to the library that often in the last few years. I popped into the main Southampton library a couple of times this year to look a couple of things up, but not to really look around at great length.

However I used to pop to the library every week when I was a student. And they used to have quite a few books on the Amiga. I can't imagine they would still hold most of them though. Probably sold them off. I remember getting out some of the Bruce Smith published books on general Amiga subjects.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

They are the very same THREE books listed in Portsmouth Central (which they have no idea where they are, except they are listed as ON SHELF... Which they're not... as per usual!)
