    Amiga Red Alert

Just found this posted on Aminet. C&C Red Alert is now available on the miggy. You need the Red Alert disk to run this but as EA have made it available from here it's a moot point. Haven't tried it yet but i thought i'd let you know.

That is great news that they have released the original for free download now. And also great news that someone has ported it to the Amiga.

Will be interesting to see how it plays on the Amiga. What system specs are needed?

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

I think it needs an '040, AHI and (annoyingly) a graphics card which rules me out, otherwise I could run it. Shame there isn't an option for AGA.

Could always try it in WinUAE but not sure if there's much point in that

I would give it a try on my miggy but I've ran out of CDR's.

I've given it a try and I can't get it to work properly. In 3.9 it crashes before the menu screen and in OS4 it crashes just after the menu screen. I've run it with snoopdos and it looks like some files are missing. Mainly .fnt files which may be causing the crash i don't know.
