    The newest opensource handheld from Gamepark will be released in october, it's the successor of the GP2X and will have an OLED touch screen this time. Have a look at:

    Is it going to be backwardly compatible with older GP2X software? If so I might be very interested in getting one. It might be a good alternative to the PSP for handheld emulation.

    If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

    Why should it be backwardly compatible with older GP2X software, if newer software is coming out? And why should it not be? Opensource?

    Being backwardly compatible will mean that it instantly has a back catalogue of software available for it at launch. Something that could entice me into buying it.

    If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
