    IDE interfaces for the 4000 are in Zorro format. Just found this to help a 1200 goto zorro and it'll go cheap as the seller hasn't listed this one very well at all.

    That is still quite expensive.

    I was actually talking about the motherboard mounted original IDE port in the A4000 and if it is buffered or not. And if a buffered interface like the A1200 ones could be used with it? To add 4 devices.

    Was just a thought I had so I could have two HDs and a CD drive in the A4000 together.
