I'm trying to register for AmiBay but I keep getting told that my email address is not allowed to be used! Why?

You cannot use any webmail accounts to register on Amibay. We had to do that as we were getting too many spammers attacking the site with Google, Yahoo, Hotmail etc webmail accounts.

If however you only have access to a webmail account then I can register your account for you and then PM you the details. If you need me to do this PM me your email address and the username you wish to use and I will set your account up for you.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

    Which is your fav account?

I have fixed ISP emails and hotmail. Just wondering if it's worth using a different webmail provider.

gmail (a.k.a. Google Mail) is definately my fav out of them.

gmail's spam filtering is superb, and it organises your emails into "conversations" so if your haveing email conversations, you can look back on what has been said previously without having to go back to the inbox and find it again.

But saying all that, I've configured POP3 access, and I retrieve both my gmail and Yahoo mail into Microsoft Outlook now.

I've always found Yahoo to be a bit slow and I think Hotmail's spam filtering is non-existent.
