    Head Tracking using a WiiRemote

This is quite amazing to watch. This guy called Johnny Lee is doing some amazing things with technologies such as VR and tracking. And has utilised the Wiimote a lot for his projects.

This project uses a the sensors from the Wii sensor bar and reverses the process by head mounting them and placing the remote under the screen facing you. With this setup he has been able to create a true head tracking system that moves graphics around in true virtual 3D.

Check out the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd3-eiid-Uw

And have a look at his website http://johnnylee.net to see his other projects.

Especially of interest is his page on projects using the Wii remote http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/projects/wii/

If you own a Wii this is something very tempting to try.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
