    C64 Bruce Lee remake

Now that's some great news. I'm a huge fan of Bruce Lee for C64, it is one of my all time favorite games. Here you can get a remake running under Windows, very identical to the original version.

You know, now that all these dual-stick controlled shooters are so popular to make for the console networks I thought the other day that someone should do a remake of Smash TV for them. I'd buy it. For a dollar even.

    @DC

indeed, a fantastic game, i think i beat it that many times, it could beat the game in 25 minutes including load time

Other games i would love to see
    • Thrust
    • Way of the Exploding Fist
    • Zoids
    • Wizball (please note avatar)
    • Ally Kat
    • Path Finder
    • Critical Mass
    • Last Ninja 1, 2 and 3
    • sabotour
    • Aliens (US and UK version)
    • Spy v Spy (3d baby!)
    • The Orical
    • Valhalla
    • Shadow Fire
    • Hero
    • Elite (a decent texture mapped version would be all one needs!)
    • Ghost Busters
    • Bionic Commando
    • Commando
    • Transformers
    • Wizards Lair (1&2)
    • Combat Skool
    • Ace of Aces
    • Blue Max
    • Paradroid (2.5d texture mapped version is all i want!)
    • Uridium
    • Who Dares Wins
    • Kickstart 2 ( a nice texture mapped game similar to hard driving would be cool)
    • PSI Trading Company
    • Archon

Okay better stop it there, it could soooo go on and on

    Hi Buleste,

The original programmer of these classic C64 games was Andrew Braybrook - did he sell the rights and copyright? I haven't seen Uridium or Paradroid on the Wii...

Does he get the credit for the originals ?

Do you know how it works?

    Cheers

Bionic Commando is being remade and is near release. There will also be a new version of the classic NES game with modern graphics released in conjunction with it. The NES version wasn't the best one as we all know, but I guess it's better than nothing.

Edit: Oh yeah, and there's also a new Ghostbusters game coming. It's supposed to be pretty good, with Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis closely involved in creating it. Probably has nothing to do with the classic game though.
