Yesterday I received two new DS games in my mailbox: Contra 4 and Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword which my friend Chris had sent to me.

So far I have only played Contra 4, an awesome old school 2D Arcade shooter.
I bet there are several fans of the original Contra or Probotector series here on the board who either played the original Arcade cabinet games, the NES games or the later games on 16 bit, 32 bit and beyond.

Its definitely a very hard game, reminding you what a luxury a hit bar is, and it requires excellent dexterity to avoid enemies and collect some of the power ups.
Its great to see that games like these are still made in the age of 3D.
