    Ahh you're a Trekkie Buleste!!!

I am watching the last season of Voyager on DVD as I didn't really watch that series...
Mind you, I did enjoy DS9 which is IMO the best out of them all !!

From season 4 - it was really great with loads of Klingons !!!!

Speaking of which, I think that scene with Scotty and Kirk explaining the fight in the trouble with tribbles is just class !

Oops, my secret is out !! I have been a "closet" Trekkie for years !!!

You're a male of a certain age so of course you're a trekkie/trekker. I'm more of general Sci-fi freek who whilst enjoys Trek i do prefer some of the others but will always try to watch it if it's on. However we're getting slightly off topic (Overthrowing H is on topic in my opinion) and my incur the Wrath of Harrison (to be found in all good bargain bins for 1p).

Here! Here! DS9 was the best ST series of them all. Was brilliant and I have them all on DVD.

I never did get into Voyager in quite the same way, though I did watch all of the episodes when they aired on sky as I'm still a trekkie!

Except if you made to choose Star Wars would always come first!

The decision to have Worf in DS9 was an excellent one as he was always a favourite of mine from TNG. The character really made DS9 so much better and adding the Defiant in the show was great too.

I have a cheap imported Chinese version of DS9 on DVD that really doesn't do it justice and I'm looking towards getting the proper set of DVD's off Amazon when I can afford it.

I love the first trilogy of Star Wars and I was about 8 when I first saw it with my mum and dad. It has stayed with me all my life, just as Star Trek has as I remember watching it in the early 70's along with Doctor Who and been terrified of the Cybermen !!!

I was always sacred of the Daleks when I was very little. I remember hiding behind the sofa a few times. And my parents took me to a Doctor Who exhibition when I was very small and I remember being really scared. You walked in through a mock up of the TARDIS into a large exhibition space done out like the interior, and there was a Dalek sitting in the corner. I remember thinking it was cool seeing a full sized one. But as I got close to it the thing fired up and started moving, with the lights flashing and it speaking. That really made me jump. I think I was about 6 at the time! he he

Regarding Star Trek DVDs, I was lucky enough to get the official box sets when they first came out at quite cheap prices. I've got the full DS9 and NG sets but never bothered with the Voyager ones. But watching episodes again on Sky more recently I think I might get them if I see them cheap.

Voyager is a cool series with the Borg Harrison and is worth getting for your collection.

    My ST collection is thus;

ST Original in yellow, blue & red boxes
Movies 1 to 10 on slimline boxset
TNG TV Movies (two part - pasted together)
    TNG Seasons 1-7 (Silver Boxes)
DS9 Season 1-7 Cheap nasty Chinese import
    Voyager Seasons 1-7 (Red Boxes)
Enterprise Season 1-4 Cheap nasty Chinese import

I avoided getting the ST original boxes as they didn't remaster them at all for the DVD releases. In fact they made the DVD copies from the TV versions which are edited for censorship and the image quality isn't so good. I hope they do a proper remastered copy of the original series in the future.

I've split and moved these Trekkie posts into a new thread.
