I heard about it in February. Needless to say as most of my ebaying is selling i'm not happy even though i've never left a buyer negative feedback.

I did read something about plans to force people to use Paypal as the only payment option (with the exception of cars I think). Seems absolutely ridiculous - anything that sold for a few quid was OK by cheque but with PP fees it doesn't seem worth doing anymore and is more likely to leave the seller out of pocket.

Multiple sells also count now! mine has gone from 609 to 640!

So each sell/buy you make counts, weather or not you have brought from the person b4 or not!

This is better, as I tend to buy certian things on a regular basis from the same sellers!

Mine hasn't changed at all, still at 148. I still have 1 negative feedback from a french guy, who's no longer a registered member. I sent him the money, but he didn't get it immediately and gave me negative feedback. Then after 2 weeks he contacted me, telling that his bank made an error, and posted a commentary saying that I'm a serious buyer. But the negative feedback wasn't removable anymore. Damn frog eater!!

Ok, mine has changed today, went up to 167, and my only negative feedback was removed.

Has anyone here ever reported an ebay item to ebay for breach of their item regulations?

I do this when I find someone trying to sell collections of emulators and roms on there.

But I'm wondering if ebay ever actually do anything about it. I get an email saying thank you for submitting the report, but when I've checked the sellers over a week later they are still on there selling the same pirate copies of games.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

I have reported some items, and they dissapeared. I reported a few computers where they did 'keyword spamming' e.g. by putting G3 G4 MacBook Pro in the title of an lder powerbook (this seemed to be with big companies selling stuff and not people who specialise with macintoshes).

I also had someone report my auction and it got deleted because I said in the auction that I accepted cash.
