    Gary Gygax

On 04 March Gary Gygax, Co creator of Dungeons and Dragons sadly died. Without Gary Gygax there would be no RPG's either Pen and PApre or on the computer. Nor would there be a way for nerds to reap revenge on the bullies that had blighted their life. Roll your D20 in honour of him.

That is some sad news. Many years ago I used to enjoy a few games of D&D with my friends. We even ran our own lunchtime RPG club. How sad is that!

    D100? Actually with 100 sides? Largest I have is a D20 I think.

I still have all my P&P RPGs in the loft. Tons of them ranging from the original few D&D box set releases plus mission packs, up through Warhammer RPG, 2000AD, BattleTech, MiddleEarth, Maelstrom and many many more. I even have the original Megatraveller box too that I got for free form my secondary school when i found it in a cupboard and they no longer wanted it.

Yes with 100 sides. Those old RPG's may raise a bit of cash on e-bay. Not enough to buy that house but certainly some. Especially the MERP stuff as some of those can go for silly prices not matter what the condition although the market has levelled out a bit recently.

Really? I've got a ton of stuff up there in the loft that i doubt I will ever touch again so I would definitely sell it if there is a market.

What sort of prices are we talking about? F.ex A good condition boxed copy of the original version of the MiddleEarth RPG.

If you know rough ideas for prices could I do a list of what I have so so can let me know what it is all worth?

The red box Middle Earth Role Playing Game (hereafter known as MERP) by ICE is not the greatest seller but some of the modules, especially the later ones have been sold for over £100.00. Best thing to do is go on e-bay and type in MERP and have a look.

I had a quick look, but there is a lot to look though in the results and I don't really have the time to go through everything to see what is worth anything.

What about the original boxed version of D&D from the late 70's? Plus the second blue box? They worth anything?

OK cool. I will have a dig around the loft and make a list.
