    Software synthesizers for Amiga?

Just like it says on the tin. I'm interested in anything and everything you guys know about softsynths written for Amiga. Preferrably ones which don't require a towered PPC-powered beast, because I can't afford one (yet!). I'm mainly looking to research actual synthesizers rather than samplers, to see if there are any worth trying out.

Are there any in particular that you guys use? Do they even exist? I'm looking to explore the limits of what the Amiga's soundchip is capable of, so I have more of an idea what to expect from mine once the system gets put together

Wasn't there also a Roland based one? I seem to remember playing around with one based on Roland hardware. I could be wrong but seem to remember it was on a coverdisk. I will have a hunt through my collection when i get chance.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
