Nice. No updates for over a year, and then two come along one after the other. Lets hope the progress of development continues at this pace.![]()

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

As someone who first found this sight whilst surfing on his PSP, I would just like to say that each and every person here, regardless of PSP ownership or not, appreciates the time and effort put into the product.
Each and every Amiga-related production out there keeps the system alive, (which is more than can be said for the Oric-1)
Damn, I said Oric-1 again... Fcuk I said it again!!!
*repeats to self. "Never mention the Oric-1 again!"...
Oh siht!!!!

How is PSPUAE going?
Is it getting better? I remember some months ago that games lack a bit of frame rate. Does it continue like that? Or is it better?
How much % of games can you emulate on PSPUAE? Do we still need a old firmware version to run PSPUAE?
A500 - A600 - A1200

You can run PSPUAE on any custom firmware version you like, even the latest ones. However as with any unsigned code on the PSP, you can still only run any emulator on the original official 1.5 firmware.
But any PSP owner would be mad to still be stuck on firmware 1.5. Installing the latest custom firmware brings so much more to the PSP.
As for the speed of PSPUAE. It still isn't perfect. Probably wound 90-95% speed in many games. But with some tweaking you can get many working well. As for compatibility, most games will load and run but it is trial and error as to how well each runs, as well as the settings you use. It is definitely still one of the best portable Amiga emulators available on any handheld system.

Its going slow, i really need help with the coding side of things, I have it compiled for 3.xx firmware (this is way forward as it fixes mem issues and also allocates all availible mem on a slim) only problem is the sound is accessing kernel calls, im stuck on building an external prx to call the sound kernel calls. So im gettign perfect mem access but no sound. The main is to finally transfer Sound to the sencond CPU and making it 3.xx+ seemed to be the perfect time.
Theres still no ETA on Chilly Willy's complee rebuild of PSPUAE, it will have eveything, CD32, AGA, etc etc.
As Harrison said, its getting there, hard to believe 5 releases before, you had to use FS at around 4 to 6. Now you can get away with FS 1 or 2 on alot of stuff.
For now im going to update makefile to give us the speed we lost in last release, maybe add a few things, not sure yet. If you want speed, use the 0.70 release, its faster than 0.71 release (stupid cockup by me).
We have also found with games that dont like running and crash. If you use a R.I.S.S (details here), WHDload seems to fix alot of the issues, plus they make using PSPUAE painless.
Also, if anyone browses pspuae.com on there psp, i have made a portal, only for PSP, http://pspport.pspuae.com. You can see latest news, faq's, downloads, latest forum posts, R.I.S.S. downloads (you need to login to download them) and themes.
