And this seems to be the trend lately with many of the old series being restarted. Look at James Bond. That too has been restarted with a much more serious, more violent, realistic 007. And the next Batman, due our later this year, is looking good from the trailers.
That's interesting, i hadn't see the last Bond like that. I must admit that i was expecting another superspy movie where the guy jumps from a cliff, falls on plane which explode and finally uses his costume has a parachute to land on the top of a palace in Vegas, just in time to have a glass of champagne without a single drop of sweat. When i saw him being tortured, etc... i was a bit sceptical maybe even disappointed, it was a great symbol in my mind and it was being destroyed.
But now, with this trend of "more realism", i must admit that i may have judged it too fast... I must rewatch it asap
